Company History

Sotiropoulos & Associates S.A. was established in 1965, as a pioneer in geotechnical engineering, a new field, at the time, in Greece. Responding to the increasing demand for geotechnical services in the country, the company was, from the beginning, involved in a great variety of engineering projects. To better serve the needs of the projects, S&A S.A., from the first day of its operation, offered complete services along the line of geotechnical engineering, including:
● conceptual design
● programming and execution of field investigations and laboratory testing, by company owned equipment and laboratory facilities
● evaluation report and geotechnical design
● instrumentation and consulting services for the realization of the project

Beginning in 1974, the company expanded its activities in several countries mainly in the Middle East, India, China and more.

S&A S.A. has gained wide experience in the execution of special foundation works and soil improvement techniques. The company has also executed special foundation works as a contractor, for small and large civil engineering projects.

Currently, Sotiropoulos & Associates S.A. offers specialized geotechnical services including all stages of the geotechnical cycle, from the conceptual design to the realization of the project.
